About Us

Cube Associates was established in 2008, born out of a background in working for clients and also being the client. Having the knowledge and understanding of how clients work, has enabled Cube Associates to provide a unique and insightful service.

Cube Associates provide a specialism, but not limited, to the hospitality field. Be it pub refurbishment through to new build hotel developments. The ‘Projects’ section provides a detailed overview of projects work on, including the client, value, designer and main contractor.

Cube Associates also provide a number of unique specialist services, all of which were developed and nurtured during times working for a number of blue chip clients. These specialist services include client secondment, roll outs and initiatives and site /sales assessment.

Pronett is very commonly used Facilities Management software in the hospitality sector, now known as Access Maintain following the acquisition of the company. Cube Associates have considerable knowledge of this platform, and have assisted many companies in setting up and providing an ongoing management service. This can be tailored to the full suite within the software or specific areas only such as Planned Maintenance

Quantity Surveying

Cube Associates perform all of the traditional roles undertaken by a private Quantity Surveying practice, managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. Cube Associates expertise lies in the client side relationship, working for and providing secondment Quantity Surveying services to many client organisations.

Project Management

Cube Associates have undertaken many Project Management roles, from small scale managing client direct procurement orders to full blown project management of large scale developments, from inception through to completion. Managing and delivering on time, cost and quality. Ensuring that the team executes their roles as defined during the project.

Facilities Management

Cube Associates have successfully managed facilities within a number of client organisations and built up strong relationships with the hospitality contractor base. Cube Associates have expert knowledge of the Pronett platform (used extensively by hospitality clients), in which they have managed the entire process of set up, on going administration and bespoke reporting.

Employer’s Agent

Cube Associates have acted as Employer’s Agent for a number of hotel developments. An Employer’s Agent acts on behalf of the clients as the contract administrator for design and build contracts (such as the JCT DB 16). The Employer’s Agent role can be commenced prior to awarding of a contract, covering areas such as consultant novation, contract documentation, change orders and reporting procedures.

Site Assessment

Cube Associates have undertaken a specialist role in assessing the viability of new development sites and also to understand performance inhibitors for existing businesses. This has been done via competition, location and demographics surveys. Sales Assessment techniques have been applied to understand potential sales in a site based upon detailed assessment of the existing client base and performance.

Roll Out Initiatives

Cube Associates have managed the rollout of many estate wide initiatives for clients, including certification of payment to contractors and suppliers. Examples range from the installation of 100,000 LED bulbs, installation of free air cellar cooling equipment (utilises the cold outside air in lieu of tradition cellar cooling), installation of dispense monitoring scheduling (automatically turning off power during period of closure)
